Spend the summer with SheBuilds. SheBuilds is now OPEN for applications.
Are you someone who takes action rather than waiting for permission, who doesn't just talk about ideas, but wants to test them, shape them, and build something real?
SheBuilds is a NEW UCC summer programme for women who are ready to explore a start-up idea. We're inviting applications from women actively working on an idea with commercial, environmental, or social impact, women with the ambition to build something of their own.
SheBuilds pairs practical startup building tools with a community of women backing each other to go further, faster.
SheBuilds is open to UCC students and Postdocs. If you've just graduated - you can still apply! If you have a Co-FOunder, they are welcome to join also!
The programme will run for six 2 hour sessions over 3 weeks on Mondays and Thursday from the 13th July - 30th July. Sessions will take place on campus at University College Cork. We're offering two schedule options below, the option with the most sign-ups will be the one we run.
Option 1 - Mornings (10:00-12:00) or Option 2 - Evenings (17:30-19:30).
SheBuilds finishes with Grand Pitches where participants pitch their idea to an invited panel of founders, mentors, and industry experts with cash prizes for some of the best ideas and pitches.
